Water Restrictions

No outside watering
 WATER RESTRICTIONS On June 25th, 2008 the Georgia Environmental Protection Division approved the City’s petition requesting modification of the level IV water restrictions.

The current water restrictions of level IVc are as follows:

All outdoor water uses are allowed on an odd/even basis three days per week between 12 midnight and 10:00am.

ODD numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

EVEN numbered addresses may water on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. 

Outdoor water uses unaffected by the Level IVc modification:

Outdoor water uses exempt from the Drought response Level IV outdoor water restrictions established pursuant to Section 391-3-30-.05 of the Rules for Outdoor Water Use;

Filling of swimming pools, without restrictions on day or time as provided for in HB 1281.

“Newly installed landscaping which has been in place less than 30 days may be watered up to three days a week within the hours of 12:00 midnight to 10:00am only for 10 consecutive weeks and during plant installation. Odd-numbered addresses may water newly installed landscaping Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Even-numbered addresses may water newly installed landscaping Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Any person watering newly installed landscaping must register with the Outdoor Water Use Registration Program at http:urbanagcouncil.com/….”

Prohibited outdoor water uses:

Using hydrants for any purpose other than firefighting, public health, safety, and flushing.

Washing of hard surfaces such as streets, gutters, sidewalks, and driveways except when necessary for public health and safety.
