EPD declares Drought Level 1 for Henry County
Posted on Thursday September 15, 2016
EPD declares Henry County as Level 1 Drought and asks cooperation in conserving water resources.
Henry along with 52 other Georgia counties, has been declared to be at Drought Level 1 by the State Environmental Protection Division.  At Level 1 Drought the public is asked to:

- Be prudent with commercial and residential water use (not just outdoor watering)
- Regularly check for, and repair, leaks inside and outside
- Don't leave a tap running; turn the water off when shaving, brushing teeth, washing your face, turn the tap off
- Only water landscape when necessary and adjust sprinklers so only your lawn is watered and not walls or pavement
For general landscapes, watering may be done between 4:00 pm and 10:00 am
