Household garbage is picked up one day per week and should
be placed street side by 7:00 a.m. on your pickup day.
All garbage must be in plastic bags and placed in 32-35
gallon cans with lids.
After garbage is picked up, all garbage cans must be removed
from the street.
Please call the Customer Service Department for your
scheduled pick-up day.
Service During Holidays:
observes nine holidays throughout the year. Should a holiday cause you to miss
a regular pick-up with regard to household garbage collection, services will be
continued on the next regularly scheduled pick-up day.

Service for Limb Removal
Chipper runs must be called in one week in advance. To schedule chipper service, call 678-833-3315.

If a professional contractor or individual is hired to
cut, trim, perform any landscaping, tree/limb removal, or construction, the
city will NOT accept a request for chipping or debris removal. The hired contractor, individual or property
owner is responsible for all limb and/or debris removal.
Additional Sanitation Services:
pickup on Monday. Bags should be placed to the curb by 7:00 a.m. (MUST BE IN
BIODEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS)
All metal recycling must be called in one
week in advance – grills, bikes, appliances, etc. (no air conditioners and/or
freezers, no propane tanks or gas tanks). To schedule metal service, call
Special Pickup on Monday’s: $25.00 fee per pickup of anything other than
household garbage. Limited to five (5) items per pickup - furniture, bedding,
shelving units etc. The City
will not offer special pickups for evictions. Any appliance containing
Freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, or AC Units must be certified
Freon-free, otherwise, pickup will not occur. To schedule a special pickup
the fee must be paid in advance at City Hall by Friday before Noon.
We do not pick up: rocks, dirt, mulch, tires, paint, batteries, motor oil, remodeling or new construction debris.
