In 1999, the City began pumping water from its own 3 wells that currently provide one third of the water consumed. The remaining two thirds water is purchased pretreated from the Henry County Water and Sewerage Authority (www.hcwsa.com ). Stockbridge consumes on average 850,000 gallons of water per day.
