Information for Obtaining Water and Sewer with the City of Stockbridge

The customer can apply for water and sewer in person at City of Stockbridge Water Department, or can print an application from our website at the link above. For further information call 770-389-7901.

Renting or leasing: a $150.00 water deposit is required payable to the City of Stockbridge before water and sewer services can be connected. This water deposit should be paid by cash, money order, or credit/debit card. This deposit will be refunded when the customer moves. However, final bill and any other past due balance will be deducted from the $150.00. Customers must be present at the time water and sewer services are connected.

New Owners are required to fax or bring a copy of the settlement statement showing their name and service address and a completed application to the Stockbridge Water Department. Our fax number is 770-692-2690. Customers must be present at the time water and sewer services are connected. No water deposit is required.

Interruption of Water Services

If your water account has a past due amount of greater than $25.00, your service is subject to termination after the 20th of each month. All payments made on cut-off day must include a $50.00 reconnect fee if your name is on the disconnect list. We will NOT accept checks if your water has been disconnected.

On Cut-off Day, payments made for reconnection must be received in our office by 4:00 pm. Otherwise, service will be restored the next morning during business hours. Customer must be present at residence when reconnecting service.
