Stockbridge Youth Council Accepting Applications 

Stockbridge, GeorgiaMay 10, 2019 - The Stockbridge Youth Council is currently accepting new applications for the 2019-2020 Program Year. The Stockbridge Youth Council Mission is to provide an opportunity for the youth of Stockbridge to build leadership skills, learn about civic responsibility, gain a better understanding of municipal government, prepare for a lifetime of public and community service and to acquire a greater knowledge of the American political system.

  • Applicant must reside in the city limits of Stockbridge
  • Applicant must attend a school (or home school) and be in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade for the 2019-2020 school year
  • Applicant must commit to attend all scheduled monthly meetings which take place from June to May
  • Applicant must agree to complete a community service project
  • Applicant must obtain transportation to and from meetings and events
  • Applicant must notify the Advisory Committee of any changes in activities/obligations
All applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office located at 4640 North Henry Boulevard in Stockbridge, Georgia.  Applications can be emailed to vholiday@cityofstockbridge-ga,gov.
