"I am calling all volunteers who value beautification in our community to attend my event Keep Stockbridge Beautiful on this Saturday, September 14, 2019, " said Stockbridge Councilman Elton Alexander. "Our group will build upon the beautification efforts that we completed at Hudson Bridge Road and I-75 when we planted 12 flowering trees in the median. The time has come for routine maintenance of the trees we planted  by adding fresh pine straw, removing litter and even adding a few additional plantings! Join us as we elevate the appearance of our community adding beautification as we strive to eliminate litter in our city. We launched the initiative Keep Stockbridge Beautiful because beautification matters in Stockbridge!"
