Stockbridge To Host Marker
Unveiling at Unity Monument Park 

Stockbridge, Georgia- January 21, 2020--- The City of Stockbridge will host its Marker Unveiling at Unity Monument Park on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10 am at the intersection of Eagles Landing Parkway and Rock Quarry Road in Stockbridge, Georgia. The ceremony is free and open to all community members. Parking for the event is available at Outback Steakhouse located at 200 North Park Court in Stockbridge, Georgia. On April 30, 2019, the Stockbridge City Council voted to establish the location's name as Unity Monument Park.  


"It's our Centennial year and we are excited to host the Marker Unveiling for Unity Monument Park on this Wednesday morning," said City Manager Randy Knighton.  "We welcome the public to join us for this community event. Unity Monument Park belongs to the community and this newly installed marker unveiling signifies the progress of the City of Stockbridge. Our time is now and our community members are at the center of our overall focus and mission. The landmark represents the unified efforts of our diverse community and we couldn't be prouder of this moment in time."
