You can check you status, register, view your precinct and polling locations, see early voting options and view sample ballots by logging into My Voter Page online at: https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do or pickup an application at City Hall.

Voting Location Change: If your voting location on election day is Red Oak Church, your new voting location will be Red Oak Elementary School.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice of advanced voting for the June 9, 2020 Presidential Preference Primary and General Primary /General Non-Partisan Election. Voting will be conducted at the following locations and times listed below. Last day to register to be eligible to vote in the June 9, Presidential Preference Primary and General Primary /General Non-Partisan Election is May 11, 2020. Voters may check their voter registration at mvp.sos.ga.gov. For further information or to request an absentee ballot call 770-288-6448.

2019 Election Results

Councilman Elton Alexander,  Councilman John Blount and Councilwoman-Elect Yolanda Barber were  elected to serve a four-year term on the Stockbridge City Council and will be sworn in on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Stockbridge City Hall Council Chamber.

CITY OF STOCKBRIDGE AND UNINCORPORATED HENRY COUNTY VOTERS PASS THE SUNDAY BRUNCH BILL

City of Stockbridge voters approved the Sunday Brunch Bill  authorizing the city to permit and regulate /Sunday sales of distilled spirits and/or alcoholic beverages by the drink from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

HENRY COUNTY VOTERS PASS SPLOST V

Stockbridge will receive an estimated $20,525,905 to work with by the time the SPLOST collections are done. A total of $9,836,695 will go to civic projects and buildings, while $4,590,458 will go to two separate line items — road projects and sewer, water and stormwater infrastructure; and $1,508,294 will go to park improvements.

It is important to note that several polling locations have changed recently. Eligible voters should check registration status and view additional voting information online at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov or by contacting the Henry County Elections Office at     770-288-6448. Any eligible voter may request and vote by absentee ballot without specifying a reason for their absence from the polling place on Election Day. Applications for absentee by-mail ballots must be made in writing. A request can be made up to 180 days prior to any election. Absentee ballots may be requested by-mail ballot application or you may write a letter to apply for an absentee by-mail ballot. The letter must contain sufficient information; please visit  the County’s website for details at  http://www.co.henry.ga.us/Departments/D-L/Elections-Registration. The Henry County Board of Elections is located at 40 Atlanta Street in McDonough, Georgia.
