Human Resources

Human Resources' mission is to recruit, retain and support a qualified workforce committed to serving the citizens of Stockbridge.

The Human Resources Department provides administrative support to City departments in the recruitment, selection, development and retention of staff through the design and implementation of an equitable personnel management system.

The department is also responsible for providing risk management services including employee group insurance programs, workers’ compensation administration, general liability insurance programs, and safety and loss control efforts.  Additionally, Human Resources is responsible for the administration of, and compliance with, City personnel policies and applicable state and federal laws.

The City of Stockbridge is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to equal access and equal treatment of all applicants and employees without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, marital status, age, or disability.  Applications are accepted for current job opportunities only.   All applicants must complete an official City of Stockbridge Employment Application, and turn it in at City Hall to be considered for any vacancy.  Professional level applicants are encouraged to submit a resume in addition to the completed employment application.
